We are SO excited to welcome Valeria Girardi Kostner to the SVS team! 🎶✨

Valeria is now accepting voice students at our Pelham studio inside Ballet Arts Evolution, and we could not be more excited to have her joining our growing community.

An accomplished performer, teacher, and vocal technician, Valeria brings years of experience and a strong focus on healthy, individualized vocal training.

Interested in studying with Valeria? Fill out our SVS Interest Form to get started!

⬇️ Learn more about Valeria below!

VALERIA GIRARDI KOSTNER – VOICE TEACHER

Soprano Valeria Girardi Kostner hails from New Rochelle, N.Y. She began her vocal training at age 15 and soon began winning competitions, including the MacAllister Foundation Awards, Queen’s Opera Competition, and Young Patronesses of Opera/Florida Grand Competition.

She earned a B.A. in Theater from Iona University and became the first-place national winner of the Bel Canto Opera Seminar, receiving a full scholarship to study at Northwestern University under Giorgio Tozzi and Martina Arroyo. She later studied with Mignon Dunn and her longtime teacher, Armen Boyajian.

Highlights of her career include numerous appearances with New York Grand Opera. She made her Carnegie Hall debut singing Amneris in the Triumphal Scene from Aida and later performed the complete role of Amneris at Central Park under Maestro Vincent La Selva. She was also featured in Opera News as an artist with the company.

Valeria has performed in opera and oratorio throughout the U.S. and, after a successful career as a mezzo-soprano, transitioned in recent years to soprano.

She has taught students from age four through adults at the professional level, worked in the New Rochelle public school system, and maintains a private studio. Her focus is helping students develop a healthy, solid technique that allows them to achieve a free sound in whatever style they choose. taken in Ballet Arts Evolution by @balletartsevolution
