I’ll show you the way: BILLET 4140. Forgings break because a 7075 bar flexes and a forging is a dissimilar metal with not much elasticity- but it’s inexpensive. Heat treated 4140 is case hardened with a more malleable core so if it ever does bend it does so without breaking. (Hint: we’ve never seen a 7/8” D60 shank bend OR break….these are 1.25” shanks) by @balljoint_delete_systems
