If you have been down the 3D hallway in the last few days, you may have seen a new mutual aid cabinet called “Common Goods.” Assistant Professor Michael Lorsung built this beauty, and it is already stocked and ready for the benefit of all. Feel free to leave donations (food, hygiene products, art supplies) anytime and stop by to take what you need. The SOA is also hosting a Donation drive for the Cardinal Kitchen pantry through January. Bring supplies to the boxes in the SOA office (AJ 401) Griner Art Gallery, and Glick Center for Glass. by @ballstateart

Kicking off our School of Art Club Spotlight series with the Art Education Club! 🎨

The Art Ed Club meets every other Monday, giving students a chance to unwind, get creative, and connect after a busy day of classes and work. Members share ideas, participate in workshops, and learn from guest speakers and each other.

One of their recent projects? A colorful, mixed-media welcome banner made with collage and other materials to welcome fellow students!

Interested in joining? Stop by Room 250 and get creative with the Art Ed Club! A group of seven Art Education Club members sits around tables in an art classroom, smiling and working with colorful paper, yarn, and collage materials. Large, multicolored cutout letters across the top of the image read “Club Spotlight.” by @ballstateart

Featuring Hapner’s signature palette of pinks, the exhibition explores contemporary womanhood through reimagined classical imagery and “unapologetic femininity.”
