Today, we celebrated the life of Mrs. Rita Shreve. She was a dedicated faculty member in the SPAA department until her retirement in 2023. As an SLP and faculty member, she impacted the lives of so many patients, families, students and colleagues. She will be missed, but her impact in the community will last forever. We send our condolences to her family and friends. by @ballstateslp

Several students and faculty from our program were able to go to the ISHA convention in Indianapolis today! Over the last few weeks in SPAA 631, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), representatives from AAC manufacturers have been introducing their devices to students. Students learned how to program devices, what devices will be best for different clients, and how to contact representatives in the future!
