From the category “Byproducts of a Mountain Bike Photo Shoot.” Autumn 2025: Early in the morning on the Col de Fourfande, the trail was still in the shade. So we waited and watched as the light slowly crept down the mountains and the chamois lined up on the mountainside. Truly peaceful moments, just before a long day in the mountains.

Last autumn, I had the pleasure of shooting mountain biking action on some of the best singletrack trails in the French Alps. We had perfect conditions, bright blue skies, and tons of fun, even though it was work. The Col d’Izoard Supertour was one of the three tours where I captured the action. One of the rare posts about me. Last Saturday, I reawakened the old competitor in me. Well, at least I managed to do so to some extent, as I otherwise tend to stay in my comfort zone too often. Nevertheless, my performance was quite ok. The organization around the Pizol Altiski on the other hand was much more than ok. Despite difficult snow conditions, they put on a great race with a great atmosphere. Big up!
