I delivered twins!!

My ewe Twister bred to Banjo produced beautiful twin rams Midnight and Storm 03/28 at 9:30 am. First ram was tangled and stuck.I intervened about 30 min in after only seeing his little nose and her straining to push him out, quickly repositioning and gradually pull him out. Minutes later a surprise baby started to come out. Twister did a great job and he came out no problems but he was so small he could not get out of his placenta on his own.

It was beautiful and I was scared shitless but we did it! I'm so proud of her, so proud of us and I'm so in love with these three and this life.

I was meant to be right where I am and I know in my heart I was meant to help guide new life from womb to earth side 🥹

Can't wait for the rest of these babies to come from my tiny flock. 🐏💗 by @bamahoney__

Homestead hollow day 1!! 🪕🎼

I'm at a loss of words, the amount of love and support I received today is indescribable.

Today I got to demonstrate the fleece - fiber process and share my passion for SHEEP!
I can feel it in my bones, new opportunities and a busy next year ahead!
Being able to connect with new people and share how important natural fibers and raising sheep are with my community has been incredible. Who am I kidding, I love talking about my sheep 😂

The lambs were superstars, but are very happy to be home in their pasture with their sisters 🤍 looking forward to day 2!

Thank you @wovenwiredesign for being the best partner on my journey!!

Love is in the air ☁️💕

Turned this years ladies out with banjo 🪕
For the next month they will be together in hopes to bless our farm with more lambs spring 2027 🌱

He grew up with these girls and he LOVES them 🤣

This will be his second year to sire lambs then he will retire and let the young bucks get their shot. YES we are crossing Shetlandxicelandic again. They seem to do astonishingly good with parasites here in the south. Next year we will introduce our Icelandic ram "Remington" to my icy girls!

Psa : I check and keep up with all my rams horn confirmation. Banjo here has a tighter spiral, but let that not concern you. I can easily fit my hand between his jaw and horns (both sides) he's just FLUFFY. He has a wonderful fleece and it does cause the illusion that his horns are growing into the side of his head. I assure you, THEY ARE NOT.

I take alot of pride in loving and raising the sheep behind the wool. 🐑🤍 From pasture to fleece, knowing where your wool comes from makes every finished piece that much more meaningful. 🌿🧶

My sweet friend @sblangston captured some photos of a typical morning in my life. 🤍🥹

The only thing I have to say is..

let those doors close, listen to your heart, hold the ones who truly support you close, forget the rest, and let what is meant for you come into your life 🐏🪻🐴
