It’s just a week before the re-release of “Georgia” on October 22, Ryan’s birthday. Although you may already listen to the song, pre-saving the re-release will boost the algorithm (look for the link in bio).
.
Ryan used a photo of real Georgia clay to create the cover design for “Georgia." One of the myriad things I miss about Ryan is watching him create something, him asking, "Whatcha think, Mom? Like it?"
.
Another special thing about “Georgia” is that Ryan’s friends, Carole Ford and Vanessa Conner—The Ford Sisters—whom he dubbed “The Angels,” sang background.
.
I met them one day when I was at Cock of the Walk Studio in Atlanta and got to give them hugs and Ryan’s book, This Is Remission. One day, Ryan will get to meet them face to face too.
.

I know a lot of you already listen to this song, but pre-saving it before the re-release will help greatly with the algorithm. So, thank you.

To me, “Georgia” is a special song, because Ryan loved it so. I remember the day I watched him listen to the mix his good friend and producer, Jeff Tomei of Rockit Productions @jeff_rockit, sent to him. He walked around the living room clapping his hands to the tune and smiling. The happiest times in this world for Ryan were in the recording studio.
