Transitioning from care work in 2024 to dedicate myself entirely to the events industry with @cruxnxtioneventsuk laid a four-year foundation of resilience. Craving something permanent, I launched @nxtionfoodmarket with a clear vision of building a household name, starting with retail to establish community trust and customer loyalty. While the first few months were a struggle, I set a five-year timeline to build a franchise-ready model. Through dedication, consistency, confidence, and grace, we achieved that milestone in under two years growing a £35,000 investment into a business worth over £400,000.
Today marks an exciting new chapter with the opening of our WAREHOUSE, a comprehensive Nigerian wholesale and retail store in Sheffield. We stock everything from everyday household essentials like brooms, igbako, omo origun, and adogan, to grains, flours, frozen and fresh meats, fish, yams, peppers, and vegetables. By offering wholesale prices alongside retail options, we empower retailers to buy at bulk rates while allowing everyday consumers to shop affordably compared to open market prices.
Proudly introducing NXTION FOOD MARKET WHOLESALES (with a new trading name coming soon) alongside my wonderful new business partner and wife, @anike__ ❤️

PS: We are currently welcoming strategic Investors for our next phase of growth. We are strictly offering structured Return on Investment (ROI) agreements no equity or ownership stakes.
Opportunities begin at £5,000 and above for long-term partners who align with our vision. Serious inquiries only please reach out directly to discuss partnership terms.

Community members,
Community members, 2023 to 2024 was a period I will never forget. I met two prospective investors who completely altered my path, teaching me a profound lesson: even when something looks like an answered prayer, it doesn’t mean it’s meant for you. Sometimes, what looks like a blessing is actually a detour designed to make you stumble. Encountering them put my life on hold and left me jobless for six months, but the wisdom gained was invaluab

Let’s go back to where it started from

In 2024, I was in the darkest space of my life. I had no job, my visa was expiring, and I was battling depression and suicidal thoughts. Yet paradoxically, that was the exact year I stepped into the limelight on TikTok, created the most content, and produced my biggest events.

On one particular day, I travelled for a job interview in Liverpool, and on the exact same day, went for another as a marketing officer in Burnley. I got both roles, but they were high-paying positions that couldn’t offer sponsorship. I returned home completely exhausted and livid.

That night, during the Hallelujah Challenge specifically the ‘Dress Your Miracle’ night I decided to dress up for the position I was aspiring to. In my heart, I also deeply wanted to own a food store business, even though I had zero money and no savings to start. I just needed God to raise people to speak up for me.
That night, I danced and I cried. And that was the turning point.

Two days later, God came through. He brought the exact family I needed into my life. Looking back, if God hadn’t orchestrated it, it simply wouldn’t have happened.
This was October 12th 2024

My first shop in Nov 2024

During my first six months in business, sales were slow and expectations were high. I knew deep down there was something I wasn’t getting quite right. Instead of pushing blindly, I prayed, asked questions, and did my research and that’s when I stumbled on the missing puzzle piece.

I took a bold step: I closed the store for two days, went back to the drawing board, and completely broke down my business plan. That single pivot changed our entire strategy.

The result? The sales we struggled to make in our entire first six taken in Sheffield, United Kingdom by @bambad___

Building True friendship is a gradual process, it is about building alongside those who are crafting something distinct, holding family and business first, and surrounding yourself with people who have just as much to offer as you do. There is nothing quite like finding solace with peers across different industries who grind to build their ventures yet always show up to celebrate each other’s wins guided by core values, mutual accountability, and a shared hunger for growth. 🤝✨
Was out yesterday to celebrate @teeclothiersbespoke @_rihanatu_aruna_ and @now__inc_uk congratulations guys we can’t wait for a 2.0
