A little sneak peak at our 'yarn situation' over at the Chemainus studio. We wind all these yarns together into bundles which gets sewn onto the doll head by our home sewers.

Our yarns are all wool and mohair with a little alpaca in there sometimes.

I’m sending out my first batch from my postcard campaign … can’t wait to see where the postcards end up!

And a bit of tariff talk … 8 weeks on and I have no hope it will end soon.

It’s all a wait and see type of situation right now …

Calling our Bamboletta friends in Eastern Canada! (Ontario and eastward!) 🇨🇦

With the totally uncertainty with what’s happening in the US and the seemingly never ending 50% tariff - we’re on a little mission to introduce more Canadians to Bamboletta, and we’d love your help!

We’ve printed up some beautiful postcards to scatter across the country, and we’re looking for 10 more lovely people out east to help us spread the word! (Ontario onward!! GTA, I’d love your help!!)

We’ll send you a little package with 15 postcards and a Bamboletta tote bag as a thank-you. I get ridiculously excited when I find a little piece of hay in the hand spun wool we use for doll hair.

I mean, how wonderful is that?! A tiny piece of the sheep’s world making its way into ours.

Every week, boxes full of dolls and all sorts of little goodies arrive from our studio on Vancouver Island!

Most of our dolls and their tiny clothes are made over there by our wonderful team, then sent across to me here in Vancouver, where I get the very fun job of opening everything up and seeing what’s arrived.

It’s a bit like Christmas every week!
