It was a pleasure for @bamyanfdn team to spend an evening with distinguished community leaders Dr. Amin Ahmadi, Mr. Akram Gizabi and Professor Zareen Taj to discuss urgent issues facing our at-risk Hazara community in Afghanistan and the challenges in the diaspora. We are grateful for their impactful work and raising awareness over the years about the dire situation of Hazaras in Afghanistan. by @bamyanfdn

Our @bamyanfdn colleague and community member Zareen Taj is helping organize a series of workshops for #Hazara women to equip them with critical digital literacy & storytelling skills to voice their unique narratives and stories. Hazara women face higher risks and vulnerability in Afghanistan due to the intersectional factors of gender, race and religion. While all Afghans go through an incredibly difficult time in Afghanistan today, the unique narratives of Hazara women must be not subsumed with the broader and mainstream stories from Afghanistan. Please consider supporting this crucial initiative. Donations will be matched 50% @globalgiving while matching funds remain.
