• Setup if camping: Tent, camp chairs, extra lights, food and water
• Timing & Safety: Mornings till late evening are great for solo riders. If camping overnight, it gets pitch black with zero facilities go in a duo or small crew, and stay alert for unfamiliar people or wildlife. And Water caution stick to the edges as the lake bed drops off suddenly into deep water.

250 km from Bangalore. The complete milestone route to Sakleshpur, Kaginahare & Kari Gundi 📍

Milestone 1: The Highway (0 – 230 km)
Bangalore ➔ Sakleshpur town via NH 75.

Milestone 2: The Fog Ascent (+30 km / 1 hour)
Sakleshpur ➔ Kaginahare. Narrow tracks shrouded in thick mist at dawn and night. Low visibility and slick corners drive slow and watch the shoulder.

Milestone 3: Ridge Camp (Overnight)
Pitch tents across the open peaks of Kaginahare. High wind, cold nights, waking up above the clouds.

Milestone 4: The Stream (+20-min hike)
Early morning trail descent down to Kari Gundi stream. The clear water pool is strictly seasonal (best right after monsoons). Be careful around slippery stream rocks.

Ground Rule:
Everything you carry up goes back into your car. Zero littering. Leave the peaks cleaner than you found them.
