Marching forward… without my trumpet…

It’s been an insane 4 years with the PRIDE of New Mexico Marching Band. I’m going to miss rehearsals and football games and struggling to put my gauntlets on. Running around hoping we get some water lol. I usually go unnoticed in this band. Since we have had 250+ members every year, I’m not exactly at the top of everyone’s list. On the other hand, through the years and even at banquet, I had multitudes of people thank me for the impact I’ve made in their lives. I’m so proud of all my trumpets and even the ones that have graduated years ago. I will never forget these 4 years that I’ve spent with “the world’s most dangerous marching band”.

I’m so glad I could make such an impact even though most of the time I never even noticed. From bus rides to multiple band camps and new visuals every year, I’m so proud to be a trumpet player. After 10 long years, I lay my trumpet back in its case for the last time… seeing the stadium lights turn off never felt so peaceful…

I am now part of the legacy…

With much love and PRIDE…

Last but definitely not least @diosa.oldways.tiendita with some backstage moments @the.secretgarden1 🥰🥰

Please help me tag anyone involved! This look was the whole reason I had my hair up most of the show 💅 though we had a little mishap just moments before I walked out, you couldn’t even tell 😎
