Thanks to Sligo Airport for the venue, Tom and Maeve from Blackbird for the bar, and Andy Fielding for arranging the screening and all his support. And thanks to everyone who came along and made the night so special, an Irish premiere for an incredible set of films by one of the true luminaries of surf culture, to whom so much is owed. Together we raised around €550 for the local RNLI.

A band of travellers on the first ever filming trip to G-Land. @petermccabesurfboards told us that he jumped straight off the boat and started surfing there by himself. No leg-rope, no checking it out. He came in on the beach at dark and had to follow the one lantern to find the boat.
