Alec Bang & The Cult Classics are leaving Salt Lake City and heading out on a Pacific Northwest tour.

Before they disappear into the highways, forests, dive bars, smoke, and strange little miracles of the road, we’re throwing one final backyard gathering to send them off properly. Percussionist in the band @dansindanimal has opened his magical backyard up.

🔥 LIVE MUSIC
🔥 AERIAL PERFORMANCES
🔥 POETRY
🔥 COMEDY
🔥 CLOWNING
🔥 BURGERS, BRATS & VEGGIE BURGERS
🔥 BEAUTIFUL WEIRDOS

📍 Dan Muir’s Backyard
🕑 Saturday May 23rd Starts at 2PM
🌙 Music ends at 10PM
🍻 Hang until midnight

Suggested donation: $15
All donations help support tour costs, promotion, gas money, and spreading the spirit of Salt Lake City across the Pacific Northwest.

No one turned away for lack of funds. If you’re called to be there, come.

We’ll also have a full merch table with shirts, patches, stickers, pins, and temporary tattoos so you can represent the Cult while they’re out roaming the highways.

And when someone asks about your shirt a month from now, you can casually say:

“Yeah… they’re on tour right now.”

ARTIST FEATURE 📣 @the_cultclassics are headed to the Jenkstar Ranch for Building Man 2026!

Like a wide river of sound fed from the snowmelt of every imaginable subgenre of rock & roll, Alec Bang & The Cult Classics make bluesy, improvisational music that defies neat classification. The group first began to form in 2021 when Alec Bang (guitar and vocals) met Dirk Jeffrey (lead guitar) while they were playing on stage at Element 11. The group has grown to include a rotating cast including: Alexis Pfuzz (violin), Dayton Livingston (bass), Dan Muir (percussion), and Matt Gooch (drums) and others.

The Cult Classics release their new single “Me Persigue” April 2026, which tells the story of two lovers affected by the violent fascist regime of the current US government.

April 30 - May 3, 2026 | Green River, UT
