For years now Maxwell has been the 5th Beatle, the 6th Stone, an unsung hero of the Screw/BYC universe: an inspiration, a rock, a confidant, an ambassador, a brother, a teacher, and a mentor. He understands, respects, and encapsulates our vision and ethos as well as anyone. We are thrilled and humbled to announce our partnership with him by making things legal. Maxwell is now an owner of Screw/BYC along with Dave, Ed, and CJ. Structurally, nothing is changing, no one is leaving, and nothing is being downsized. We found a place for whom we consider one of the best in the business; if you can get someone of Maxwellโ€™s pedigree, you make room for a seat at the table. The main takeaway from this is Screw will be tripling down on our Rock N Roll Utopia and all that entails. BYC will be tripling down on hosting killer local, national, and international acts and events, shining light on all genres, people, cultures, and backgrounds, and supporting diversity and community continuously and relentlessly. And the organization as a whole will be tripling down on building culture thru customer service, innovation, integrity, community mindfulness, and giving a shit every single day. Welcome aboard, Maxwell. ๐Ÿ“ธ @blueweed_songs by @bangbangmaxwelledison
