I’m Daisy, the Founder of BANISH, I took my own acne and acne scar struggles and turned it into over 12 years of helping people feel confident in their skin with the power of microneedling!

Through 12+ years of microneedling research, education and testing, our five principles were established:

5 Principles of The Banish Methodology on Skincare

1. Evidence based. The products Banish develops are based on evidence, science, and published studies.

Banish was one of the first at home microneedling brands launched in 2013 because there was overwhelming evidence that microneedling helped with acne scars.

2. Don’t believe in traumatizing the skin or creating shock factor just because.

More trauma does not equal better results.

3. We take a long term approach to skincare, we don’t follow trends or gimmicks.

We don’t believe skincare should be a trend.

4. We don’t add bells and whisltles just because it looks cool if it doesn’t have a clear evidence based benefit for the skin.

We don’t focus on packaging or making the products look or smell good. Instead, we focus on the ingredients.

5. We believe the best skincare outcome is for you to feel confident in your skin.

Microneedling can be a great tool for hair growth, but only if it’s done correctly.

A few things I recommend before adding microneedling into your hair-loss routine:

✨ Skip the dermaroller! I prefer a dermastamp for more controlled, vertical penetration with less pulling on the hair.
✨ Keep your device clean and replace the needles regularly.
✨ Consistency matters more than being overly aggressive.
✨ Make sure nutrient deficiencies like iron, vitamin D and zinc are being addressed.
✨ Get scalp inflammation, dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis under control first.

I’ve been using the Banish dermastamp because I love that it has gold-plated and, most importantly, replaceable heads.

"I got my Starter Kit beginning of September, once i ran out of the vVitamin C Creme, i substituted and broke out really bad, i then reordered that and the Fighter Gel. i use the Pumpkin Enzyme Masque about 3 times a week and use the Banisher 1x a week if i have no active acne."

Microneedling helps with other types of scars as well!

How does it work? By triggering a controlled 'micro-injury,' it tricks your skin into remodeling old collagen, making it one of the most effective ways to soften and flatten stubborn body scars, too.

This is one year progress using the Banisher 3.0 (0.5mm heads) on a scar above the hip bone!

"These products are by far the best I have ever used since starting my acne clearing journey. The mint cleaner isn't thick and having it foam up just makes it feel so easy to clean off. The lightweight vitamin c creme is free of thickness which in return, makes it settle quickly avoiding that thick oil feeling most moisturizers have that I have experienced in the past. Not having that thick oil feeling that takes forever to sink in was the biggest positive that won me over.
