“Ok, let’s try again, but this time good.”

A David Lynch photo dump ♥️

Some self portraits from a couple of years ago when going through stuff and I believe we all were trying to make some sense of the world during the lockdown (was anybody able to do it?).

The red room from David Lynch. Gosh, I was fascinated to be there and feel somehow close to one dream place from the mind of David. This was an installation by Guillermo Kuitca inspired by the “thinking room” from Lynch, with the voice of Patti Smith reading David’s texts.

“”Catching the big fish”. Can’t explain the meaning this one has for me, so I’ll better quote:
“Meditation is a dive all the way within, beyond thought, to the source of thought and pure consciousness. It enlarges the container every time you transcend. When you come out, you come out refreshed, filled with energy and enthusiasm for life.”

++

Infinite gratitude and ♥️ to this amazing being.

Back to that old, familiar place. The grass grew wild, untamed, and the fresh dirt, clinging to the ground where fading memories linger. This place was no longer the same. Time stood still, the world ceased to move, and nostalgia crept in. But the dog barking at the wind, seemed to show the way, not to get lost, not to be afraid.

Así que “well done!” to me 🤗♥️
