WORLD DRIFT DAY IS COMING TO ROMANIA!

Created by Monster Energy, @worlddriftday is a global celebration of drifting, bringing grassroots communities from around the world together on the same day.

No competition. No podiums. No pressure. Just cars, tire smoke, friends, and as many hours of drifting as possible.

On October 11, drift communities across the globe will come together for a day dedicated entirely to the culture and freedom of drifting.

When World Drift Day launched in 2025, the celebration took place across 16 countries worldwide.

Now, Romania officially joins the lineup.

In collaboration with Banked, World Drift Day Romania will take over the former Dacia test track in Merișani, Argeș, transforming more than 11,000 square metres of asphalt into one massive grassroots drift playground.

With 140 cones, plenty of space and hours of seat time, this is not about who is the fastest or who has the biggest build.

It is about driving.

Bring your car. Bring your friends. Bring some spare tyres.
