POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

In a sudden and quick turn of events, Vinyl Destination played our first ever show at Bar Margot at The Four Seasons in Midtown.

After nearly a year of practice, this gig fell into our laps, and we had so much fun bringing our music to a live audience.

Thanks to @francisco_m_vidal for trusting us with this gig, and to our friends @zachalexandermusic and @zach_stich_music for the help, guidance, and letting us borrow gear.

We are just starting, and we can't wait to start playing more this year. by @bannerdriskellmedia

It's been quiet the last several months at Rhynestone, but we have been busier then ever.

As we put the final touches on our website, new content, and new services, I want to say thank you to everyone who has used our services, watched our podcasts, or just been a friend.

I always hate when people say this, but I'm gonna say it anyway.....

I'm so excited for Angelica to get it's Atlanta debut. This score was so much fun to work on, and @acondofilms gave me a lot of room to make some amazing music.

It's been so fun to see my score on the big screen, and I really can't wait to do it again.

Come out this Saturday to the Aurora Cineplex in Roswell. It starts at 7 and it is FREE! I hope to see you there. taken in Aurora Cineplex Theater by @bannerdriskellmedia

Atlanta-area peeps! After a super successful show in Americus, @acondofilms is bringing it's 'Thrills, Chills, & Kills' show to Roswell at the Aurora Cineplex! My latest film score, Angelica, will be shown along with several other horror shorts by Patrick Peacock, @hannahnabatman , and others.

This event was such a blast last time, and I know it's gonna be even more fun this time. This show is nothing but bangers.

It's free and starts at 7pm THIS SATURDAY! December 7th. taken in Aurora Cineplex Theater by @bannerdriskellmedia

Movie Premiere Was A Success!

After scoring several different projects over the years, it was super rewarding to finally see a project of mine on the big screen. It was even more special because I got to bring my Grandma to the premiere.

Thanks to @acondofilms for giving me the chance to score Angelica. Thanks to @sleepingorchard for mixing and making sure the dialogue and music were never fighting, and thanks to @jehssymaya for always believing in me, and never letting me give up on my dreams. by @bannerdriskellmedia

This Friday, Oct. 11th, Acondo Films will be debuting a new horror short film I scored called Angelica.

It will be apart of the ‘Thrills, Chills, And Kills’ event at Georgia Southwestern's Fine Arts Theater at 8pm. Costumes are encouraged. 😎

Angelica tells the story of a young girl who moves in with family after her parents mysterious pass away. We quickly learn that something isn't quite right with Angelica, and that she isn't quite fitting into her new home. Madness ensues, and crazy things begin to happen. Y'all aren't gonna wanna miss it.

I want to thank Acondo Films and Patrick Peacock for giving me the chance to score this film, and I want to thank Sleeping Orchard for mixing, and making sure things sound good. taken in Americus, Georgia by @bannerdriskellmedia

New Year, New Music🎵🎸🔥

I wrote the chords to 'Jehssy's Song' nearly 15 years ago, and never found a proper place for them. When my wife's birthday rolled around in November, I decided to write a song for her, and the words finally came out.

I ended up enlisting the help of @sleepingorchard to help produce the song, and it actually turned out pretty good.

This is the closest you will ever see me get go Sufjan Stevens.

I'm not really an 'Indie-Darling' type singer, but I might have to release this song. Should I release this song or scrap it??

Glad I avoided that branch.

It was nerve-racking to ask one of Atlanta's most respected musicians to listen to California Cool, but we're happy to say that @gioyaquinto liked it and even wanted to hear more.

Check out Gio's band, @edgewoodheavy , and also every Monday night at @sob.atl where Gio leads the open mic. @livebandopenmic
