Been excited to post this custom made hood for @arty.mcewan.mills since the beginning of the design process. Working on a piece like this for another creative is such a beautiful process and I always feel it pulls out much more creativity from me when I know it’s for someone specific who will treasure it as much as I enjoyed making it.

The hood is quilted, embroidered, painted and beaded with a detachable neck ruff. The ruff is also knitted with pieces of mohair, fabric and felt. I will also be posting the process of the making itself at some point soon 🩸

Commissions are back open if anyone was wanting something tailored to them. I also offer payment in instalments as I know pieces like this are often a bit out of reach for most people. You can also always guarantee that I will work over the budget if something just needs to have an extra 10 hours of beading too 😂

Other features in this photo are my cuffs and small heart hanging vase.

Alongside loving this colour combination, I just also am so grateful to be surrounded by such amazing and talented people. When I was younger I think this was my dream, to know and be a part of a creative community (never expected one this good). So in a way this shoot is the celebration of that. Best part about being an artist is having artist mates who you collaborate with ♥️

Imo Sophia has been an inspiration to me since before I made Cute Cartel, and inspired me to create the things that started it. If you don’t know this artist already then u okay babes, what u been doing living under that rock ?

My holiday nails!!! Yes they’re a bit grown out but I was on HOLIDAY so I forgot to take pics until right at the end when the cat bit me and now I’m on 3/4 of my rabies shots which are making my life unbearable 🤠

Not got loads of time for nails at the moment which is stinky but I’m cramming it where I can!! Xxxx
