Wanted to replace our tote sale graphic with something a little more vocal and permanent. BAQZF stands with other cultural institutions joining the BDS movement. We firmly support indigenous resistance and believe that our struggles for liberation are deeply entwined. We have added anti-zionism to our Safer Spaces Policy (viewable in our bio). Free all oppressed people and those fighting against colonialism. by @baqzf

The in-person BAQZF 2026 is inexplicably already TOMORROW! Join us from 11-5 @oaklandasiancc. Over 30 queer artists showcasing their work, free to attend, wheelchair accessible, masks required. We’ll have a photobooth onstage with a decoration station if you opt for a printed film photo. Any questions about tomorrow? BAQZF 2026 transportation and venue info is here!

We'll be at @oaklandasiancc again this year, which is on the second floor above the @oaklibrary Asian Branch. The venue is wheelchair accessible and the bathrooms will be gender-neutral. Please refrain from wearing perfumed scents. BYO KN95 or N95 mask if you have one, but we'll also be handing them out at the info table in the lobby. We will have a few box fan air purifiers running in the auditorium during the fest. *Please* do not come to the fest if you are feeling ill or have recently been exposed to COVID!!!!!!

The venue is about a 5 minute walk from the 12th St BART station and located along the 6, 22, 40, 72, 96, and 851 bus lines! Street parking is available (though it's no longer free between 12-6) and there is also garage parking underneath the plaza building ($4/hour).
