From the heart of the southern mountains, and in a conversation between art and heritage, “Mandil Tahifah” is born.
In this documentary, artist Nouf Bin Shayiq meets with Qormuz founder Abdulrahman Alabid, sharing stories and reviving symbols—bringing the yellow scarf back to life with a fresh spirit and unforgettable identity.

This encounter is not a product of the moment, but the result of months of reflection, research, and weaving the past into the present—and today, it finally sees the light.

The scarf is more than just fabric; it’s a living memory of grandmothers, a deep-rooted symbol of social presence and southern identity.

“Mandil Tahifah” is a timeless piece—rich with legacy and worn with pride.
