Vandag is my liefste Mamma se 78ste verjaardag. Wat n voorreg om dit saammet Mamma te kan vier en meer so dat ons die laaste 8 jaar die lewe saam kon leef hand - aan - hand in dieselfde dorp

Saam het ons het n leeftyd in 8 jaar ingepak:
- Ons plaas El Lions opgepak en verkoop,
- n Tweeling swangerskap en premature geboorte in Covid Level 5 en 6 jaar se saam grootmaak wat ek nooit sonder Ma (en Pa) sou kon doen nie !
- Die verkoop van ons grootword vakansie huis Louwtergenot en die intrek by Pa en Ma se aftreenessie in Boegoelaan
- Pappa se siek word en hemel toe gaan

Deur dit alles kon ons by mekaar staan.
Ek is so dankbaar daarvoor.

Six years ago, on Father's Day Mario became a Dad. We were blessed with our miracle children Luca and Giana born at 31 weeks weighing a mere 1.5 kg and 1.7kg each.

Today as we look back, my own Pa is not here with us anymore and I missed him today. We also missed daddy Mario today on Luca and Giana's six birthday and Father's Day but we had a lovely celebration together last weekend and it continued today.

Thank you to all our friends and family for the calls and messages that made this last week so special.

Mario we miss you, love you and thank you for the wonderful father you are and for the sacrifices you make without ever complaining to provide for our family.#baragonatwins by @baragonalona

3 years later 🗓⏳👣 and we still do it every six weeks . This is life our story, has been for 6 years and will be for the foreseeable future.

Mario was retrenched during Covid in March 2020 . Luca and Giana were born in June 2020 at 31 weeks and by August 2020 when they came home at 40 weeks old God opened new doors for Mario with Starlite Aviation and Aerosupport Force to work on an Ad Hoc basis as traveling engineer.

That ad hoc contract today sees him work as Lead Engineer on a fixed term basis.He worked in Mali flying injured Covid soldiers,then in Sudan doing humanitarian aid, and for the last 2 years in Europe doing firefighting in Turkey,France, Chili and he most recently added a new Helicopter type to his licence in Solvakia.

This journey is not easy, it requires many sacrifices, we all cry many tears but we always rejoice in the time we get to spend together and treasure our family time.

This month in particular is special to us because all 4 the Baragonas have birthdays in June . Hip-hip hooray to us 🎂 by @baragonalona
