🇬🇧 Hello everyone!

After almost a month of work, testing, and failures (I had to redo the OSL on the base three times 😭), I've finished one of my Twin Lances!

I'm feeling more and more confident with my airbrush, which allowed me to create more detailed OSL than usual.
I wanted to limit the use of fluorescent paints, which I only used for the fire on the base. Everything else is pure acrylic.

Anyway, I'm so happy to have finished it, and I had a blast painting it... even though the base was a real pain, and sometimes I felt like I'd never finish!

🇨🇵 Hello tout le monde!

Après quasiment un mois de travail, de test, d'échecs (j'ai dû m'y reprendre 3 fois pour les osl sur le socle 😭). J'ai terminé une de mes twin lance!

Je me sens de plus en plus confiant avec mon aérographe, ce qui m'a permis de réaliser des osl un peu plus poussé que d'habitude. Je voulais limiter les peintures fluo, que j'ai uniquement utilisé pour le feu sur le socle. Tout le reste étant de l'acrylique pur.

Bref, je suis trooop content de l'avoir terminé et je me suis éclaté à le peindre ... Même si le socle m'en a fait baver et que parfois je n'en voyais pas le bout!

🇬🇧 Hey everyone! Back to my favorite faction 😍

My first XV-26 stealth suit is ready to join the fight and designate the enemies of the Farsight Enclave.
Overall, I really like the design of these new stealth suits, and they're fun to paint, so this won't be the last one you see 😝

I'm feeling a bit more confident with my airbrush. I've applied the red base coat and the blue OSL halo as well. I'm happy with the subtle gradient I got on the armor. However, when I zoom in a bit, the OSL halo isn't very clean. I'm more precise with a brush for now, but I think that will come with time 🙂

Oh, and this will be my entry for the competition organized by @xanserpaints in the "single mini" category.

Retour sur mon faction de coeur 😍

Ma 1ère stealth xv-26 est prête à rejoindre le combat, et désigner les ennemis de l'enclave Farsight.
Dans l'ensemble, j'aime beaucoup le design de ces nouvelles stealthsuits et c'est agréable à peindre alors ce n'est pas la dernière que vous verrez 😝

Je me sens un peu plus confiant avec mon aero, j'ai appliqué la couche de base rouge et le halo bleu des osl aussi. Je suis satisfait du léger dégradé obtenu sur l'armure. En revanche en zoomant un peu, le halo de l'osl n'est pas très clean, je suis plus précis au pinceau pour l'instant mais je pense que ça viendra avec le temps 🙂

Oh, et ça sera mon entrée pour la compet de @xanserpaints dans la categorie "single mini"

I haven’t posted much lately. I’ve been focused on this big baby, as there are so many details to paint! At times, I thought I’d never reach the end of it 😅

Tabletop/batch painting, each mini took me about 5 h ✌️

I rarely batch paint, but it’s a pretty fun and interesting exercise. If I were to do it again, I’d use more Contrast paints and rely less on the traditional base-coat then wash technique, though I won't be doing another batch anytime soon 😆

This squad had been sitting on my shelf for years. I’d assembled and primed it back when I was just starting out in the hobby, hence the visible assembly flaws and gaps...

What about you? What do you use for batch painting? Standard acrylics, more Contrast/washes, or oils? 🤔

🇨🇵 Tabletop/peinture de groupe. Chaque modèle m'a pris environ 5h ✌️

Je peins rarement en série, mais c'est un exercice plutôt fun et intéressant. Si c'était à refaire j'utiliserai plus de contrast et moins la technique traditionnelle couche de base -> wash mais bon le prochain batch ne sera pas pour tout de suite 😆

Cette escouade dormait sur mon étagère depuis des années. Je l'avais monté et sous-couché lorsque je commençais le hobby. D'où les nombreux défauts de montages/creux visible...

Et vous, vous utilisez quoi pour la peinture en série? La simple acrylique, plus de contrast/wash ou des huiles ? 🤔

- Bad moons: da ones wit' da fanciest firepower, da most dakka, an’ da most flash! 😎
- Goffs: da biggest an’ most brutal.
- Evil sunz: 'cos red ones go faster!
- Deathskulls: 'da mastaz uv scaveng'n.
- Blood axes: ‘da takticians.
- (custom clan) Skull-crushers: descendants uv 'da feral clans uv armageddon... Dey’re tak'n advantage uv 'da ongo'n invasion ta boost dere kulture an teknologee.

De gauche à droite en partant du haut.
- Bad moons: Cé ce'ki on l'plus de kalibr' de lux', plus de dakka et eul'plus riches! 😎
- Les goffs: les plus gros et brutaux
- Evil Sunz: Car eul' rouj' ça va plus vit'!
- Deathskull: lé pro d'la rekup
- Blood axes: les takticiens
- (Clan kustom') Eul'ekraz caboch': Descendant des clans sauvage d'Armageddon.. Ils profitent de l'invasion en cours pour augmenter leur kultur' et teknologi'.

- Mogak of the Deathskull klan.

All Orcs are looters, but the Deathskulls clan is unbeatable at it. Nothing escapes them!

And this Boy managed to scavenge some cool gear from the "beakies," so... hands off, or you'll get a choppa to the face! 👊

Tout les orcs sont des pillards mais le clan des Deathskulls est imbattable sur ce sujet. Rien ne leur échappe !

My Evil Sunz boy'z is finished. Like all the madcaps in his clan, he loves speed!
And everyone knows that red makes you go faster 😎

The next Boy will be a Deathskulls member, busy looting the ruins of Armageddon ✌️
