Under the Access to Market pillar of the @sanarakenya programme, @chibudu_ ,Program Manager, Creative Economy and Innovation at @barazamedialab reflects on the role Nakuru Market Day played in creating opportunities for creatives to connect their work with audiences, clients, collaborators and potential buyers. The three day event brought together film and podcasts, visual arts and performance arts, creating a shared space for creatives to showcase their work, engage directly with the public and have conversations around the business and sustainability of creative practice. For Nakuru’s creative sector, access to market is about creating practical pathways for creative work to reach the people, opportunities and resources that can support its growth. Watch @chibudu_ speak about what Nakuru Market Day meant for creatives and why access to market remains an important part of building a sustainable creative economy. #NakuruMarketDay #sanarake #CreativeEconomy by @barazalabnakuru
