Some folks wish they had more Santas stitched for the holidays, or maybe a big Christmas tree skirt. I would love a big wooden bowl filled with Ann’s vegetable designs or half dozen of her watermelons. She has been painting her watermelon canvases for decades. One day. . . 😉 by @barbaralriley

One last green thread didn’t get stitched on my flight.
That is pretty good. I will reload my canvases and see how far I get while waiting for my next flight and getting to my destination. by @barbaralriley

You know what it’s like to have several big projects on your plate, whether you are a stitcher or not. I finished several big projects in the past few weeks. It feels wonderful to get them checked off and move on to other big projects. Trisha’s stocking got done just in the knick of time, I finished a multi piece nativity for Lee Anne, a new club will be launched by another shop (I will let that shop owner show off that set,) and finally I finished the nutcracker. We taught the nutcracker on a zoom and another one is coming soon. We have a couple of these kits left, complete with threads and my stitch guide. Thanks for cheering me on! by @barbaralriley

I ordered the Halloween toile pillow and decided to stitch it basketweave, in hand, over the past few months. I would crawl into bed at night, stitch, listen to music/podcast/book. It helped keep me stay sane and somewhat pleasant to be around over the stressful holiday season!! It will go into the shop tomorrow for finishing.
Next, I will return to lil John’s stocking. If I could crank this out, I might have time to stitch more Christmas ornaments for the fam!! by @barbaralriley

Sharon Wollman just turned this oldie goldie from when I painted avidly. I called it my signature snowman. Sharon will have us finish it into a stuffed to stand but if shaped appropriately, it makes a fun ornament. Seeing this again makes me happy! by @barbaralriley
