Visited Port Jefferson today, strolled along the water, watched the ferry launch across the Long Island Sound on its way to Connecticut, stopped at a farmers market and a very nice bakery. #longislandliving #lifeonlongisland #exploringlongisland #sundays #portjefferson by @barbaraparnell6

Visited the oldest, continuously operating general store the country ! Established in 1857. Fell in love with the place. Felt like I was in an episode of Dr.Quinn, Medicine Woman!😂😂 Can’t wait to go back. #stjamesgeneralstore #lifeonlongisland #longislandliving #exploringlongisland #oldestgeneralstoreinthecountry by @barbaraparnell6

Been making the same birthday cake for my husband for years. Chocolate cake, chocolate pudding filling, whipped cream. Threw in a few fall sprinkles and chocolate leaves for good measure. Tonight, calories do not count! #birthdaycake #fallbirthdays #longislandbakers #celebrateeverything #makeitspecial by @barbaraparnell6
