There’s a reason we love Kurobuta pork. Beautiful marbling, a juicy chop, and a little smoke from the red oak grill. 😮‍💨 Served with corn tomalito, smashed potato salad, red-eye demi, and our house-made sauce gribiche. 📸: @fullframefoodie by @barbareno_sb
PERFECT MICHELIN GUIDE DATE NIGHT | SANTA BARBARA, CA @barbareno_sb @hearth.hospitality.group 🍷✨ This was the best way to celebrate after taking our engagement photos! I can confidently say this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a LONG time! From the flavors to the creativity behind each dish, everything was absolutely incredible. Every single dish was so unique, flavorful, and just a 10/10 all in their own way. 🔥 Honestly, I could go on and on about this place, but just know that if you’re visiting Santa Barbara or looking for your next date night spot, birthday, or even a nice dinner after work, add @barbareno_sb to your list! Have you ever been to Barbareño? And if not, which dish would you try first? 👀 Thank you so much to the team for hosting us! As always, all opinions are my own ✨ by @barbareno_sb
Barbareño turns 12! 🥂 Join us this Friday, October 23, as we celebrate with a few favorites from our original opening-day menu, back for one night only. Chef Julian will be in the kitchen and stopping by tables as we celebrate twelve years of cooking the Central Coast, made possible by the incredible community that has supported us along the way. Thank you for being part of our story. by @barbareno_sb
@barbareno_sb officially getting added to my local guide for date nights, special occasions, or if you’re just in the mood for really good food! Everything, and I mean everything was top notch, but the charred corn pudding had me acting uncouth. All table manners went out the window as I was full body reaching over to steal as many bites as possible. Other musts: Santa Maria tritip, house made bread, and ofc the pork chop. JSYK this video is in collab with @hearth.hospitality.group all opinions are my own, and I fully plan to return asap! #lysseats805 #seesb #805eats #santabarbara #805 by @barbareno_sb
A little something new on the menu. Acorn Samosas filled with curried potato, pinquito beans and mushrooms, with Milliken Farms cauliflower, zhug, and grape tamarind chutney. Crispy, savory, a little spicy, a little sweet. by @barbareno_sb
Kayla + Sam took to heart the idea of having a wedding that felt true to them. The “no wedding rules” wedding rule. From their ceremony being held right before dinner with no aisle and no chairs, just their love and their loved ones, you could sense how present they were. I got to watch (and photograph) them connect and spend time with their guests and truly enjoy their day. The perfect reminder that the only rule for a wedding is that it feels like you. 💛 Bouquet: @alphafloral Hair and Makeup: @janiceramos_ Dinner: @barbareno_sb by @barbareno_sb
@Barbareno_SB turned @figureatefoods biltong into a savory candied granola — and it’s one of the best salad toppings we’ve had. @White_Buffalo_Land_Trust and Barbareño have been in each other’s world for years: from cooking put at Jalama Canyon Ranch for events to using persimmon vinegar on the seasonal Barbareño menu. Every time regenerative ingredients land in their kitchen, something worth talking about comes out. For a recent dinner together, Chef Preston Knox took beef biltong from White Buffalo Land Trust’s food brand, @figureatefoods, candied it in brown sugar and folded into a house-made spiced granola with oats, coriander, cumin, cardamom, and aleppo. The idea came from bacon bits, but biltong makes it better. High protein, deeply savory, and a little bit surprising. 📌 Full biltong granola recipe on the Figure Ate blog 👉 figureatefoods.com/biltong-granola 📌 Shop biltong or find a store near you 👉 https://figureatefoods.com/pages/store-locator #santabarbara #saladrecipe #biltong #santabarbaracounty by @barbareno_sb
As we wrap up August at Barbareño. Central Coast ingredients, beautifully considered; grilled Milliken Farms snap peas, blueberry chèvre, and golden goddess dressing. 📸: @fullframefoodie 📍 Barbareño | Santa Barbara, CA by @barbareno_sb
We’re really excited to welcome Chef Jason Carter to Barbareño as our new Chef de Cuisine. Carter is a familiar face in Santa Barbara’s culinary community, and we’ve long admired his deep understanding of the Central Coast, thoughtful approach to seasonal cooking, and genuine appreciation for the ingredients and traditions that make this place so special. We’re excited to have his perspective, experience, and leadership in our kitchen, and to see where he helps take Barbareño next. Please join us in welcoming Carter to the team! We’re very happy to have him here. by @barbareno_sb

To our Barbareño community, We’re honored to be nominated in three categories for this year’s Best of Santa Barbara®: Stellar Service, Best Barbecue, and Best Wine List. While we’re proud of all three nominations, we’re especially hoping to earn your vote for Stellar Service. If you’ve dined with us, you know that our team is the heart of Barbareño. The warmth, hospitality, and genuine care they bring to service every night are what make this restaurant special. Voting is open through August 26. Thank you for supporting local restaurants, local hospitality, and our incredible team. We truly couldn’t do this without you. by @barbareno_sb
It’s all in the details... and this tablescape is looking grape. 🍇💜 Every bloom, bunch, and place setting was thoughtfully curated to create a celebration as beautiful as the memories made. by @barbareno_sb
