Excited to see what this next evolution of Jujitsu looks like

I started training in Jujitsu a couple of years ago at @grindersfitness and I learned so much about myself. That gym was home for so long. They became family.

Now I’m at @btt_portland and it’s taken a while to find a new gym to call home but I am proud to say this group already feels so good.

Just keep rolling.

Vulnerability.

I’ve thought a lot about that word in the last three weeks.

I didn’t picture my birth story looking like this.

I dreamed of a powerful, natural delivery. I planned, I prepared, I prayed.

But sometimes love asks you to surrender your plans—and choose what’s best, not what’s expected.

When the word C-section entered the room, fear came with it. I questioned myself. I felt like I was letting go of something sacred. But then I remembered… my birth story isn’t about perfection. It’s about bringing my baby safely into this world.

So I chose love over ego. I chose safety over expectations. I chose trust over fear.

And that decision didn’t make me less of a mother—it made me stronger than I even knew I could be.

Birth isn’t defined by how it happens. It’s defined by the love that carries you through it. And this… this is still a beautiful story. 💙 9/30/25 6:46pm

To this sweetest little boy & his loving parents,

We don’t meet people by accident. We are meant to cross paths for a reason. I hope that you are reminded of just how lucky I feel that our paths crossed. I’m grateful for this family and their support. I’ve been with them since their son was a few months old. I’ve had the honor to watch their son grow and see his adorable personality. He’s the silliest, sweetest and lovable little guy. Happy early birthday, Bishop!

I can see why people are torn with the whole Lindsay Clancy trial. I honestly tried to not watch it but it’s everywhere.

Postpartum can be the hardest time in a mother’s life but it could also be the most beautiful.

Don’t let this be a distraction. Remember why you became a mother. Ask for support when you need it.

We are women and nothing can take that away from us. We are strong and can bring life into this world. Just remember those lives are a gift and not to be taken for granted.
