Current Selections Vol. 2 • 10.16.26

Secret Grove, round two. If you know wave, phonk or trap, you know these names. ESCPE and Backwhen land in Portland this October with solo sets followed by a b2b, the first time they’ve done all three in the same night. Barbd from up2late joins them for a booking that’s been a long time coming, alongside a secret guest we can’t announce because of a radius clause. Any guesses?

Is Up2Late a conspiracy?
Did they replace Avril Lavigne with a clone?
Is Justin Timberlake safe???

Put on your tinfoil hats and adjust your dance shoes to the 438Hz frequency y’all, Hallowobble is back, bigger than ever, and open to the public!!

Join us at @sonder.listeningbar on Saturday, October 24th. We want everyone to be able to attend, so pay what you can! Suggested donation up to $15.

We’re kicking off our annual pre-Halloween party at 8 PM with conspiracy theory slideshows from the community before the Up2Late crew takes over the decks from 9 PM–Late.

Got a known, unknown, or completely fabricated conspiracy you need to expose? DM @lunasealand to lock in a presentation slot or ask questions.

Drop your wildest Up2Late theories in the comments, tag a friend with a conspiracy to share, and come wobble with us! 🛸👁️✨ by @barbd.music

AHHHH! I got to play main stage on realm with two of my best friends for a crowd filled with a bunch of my best friends. On top of that, I got to see @up2late_crew blasted all over the stage and venue. This shit is dream fuel, and I’m more inspired than you ever to keep pushing and to keep improving. If you saw me cut sound and wheel the first track back, NO YOU FUCKING DIDN’T 😘 big ups to my husband @_ghetto_acid_. Big ups to the legend @tucker_doubt_ for putting us on tough, and for helping me keep my head straight through the growing pains. wow wow wow wow wow. It’s hard to fully express how special and amazing last night was for our family. Bringing people together to connect in fun affordable dance spaces, showcasing performance art, and keeping rave magic alive in Portland have been our core fundamentals from the jump, and we got to watch our vision come to life in a public space for the first time last night. Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who showed up and made this night so perfect. Big ups to @sonder.listeningbar for hosting us! Maybe if we’re lucky, we can run that back 😉 Up2Late loves you! by @barbd.music

The first installment of my new mini-mix series is out now on SoundCloud! SLICES showcases a handful of well blended cuts. This one is 28 minutes of heat inspired by a set I played at the @darkarts.collective afterparty for @rx_fest this spring 🔥 link in bio and tracklist in the description!
