“Behind the BBQ: The story of Stiles Switch BBQ.” If you are a fan of Texas Craft BBQ, storytelling, and beautiful cinematography, we invite you to take a moment to watch and share this documentary produced by one very talented film maker. When filmmaker, Marcus Frisby reached out to us months ago, we had no idea what a talented up and coming film maker this young man was. He simply said “this is a story that needs to be told. Stiles Switch is a place rich in history and deeply rooted in traditions of Texas BBQ...and I want to tell this story.” For 3 days/nights Marcus and his small team immersed themselves behind the scenes in the pit oom, capturing the ins and outs of what it takes to keep these fires burning 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. What he captured....well, we’ll let you watch for yourself. Click the link in our profile to watch the full film. Thank you Marcus, for capturing a little bit of the magic that makes Stiles Switch BBQ such a special place. This is a beautiful film, and the pleasure is all on this side of the table. Marcus runs the popular BBQ YouTube channel Meat n’ Greet. (subscribe to this channel folks). He’s a self-proclaimed BBQ nerd who has spent the last 15 years immersed in the world of BBQ—both cooking and culture. His passion has led him to start a new series called “Behind The BBQ” on his channel, which shines a light on the people and stories that make Texas BBQ so iconic. So folks, click the link in our profile to watch the full film. Please share the link, & like and subscribe to his channel to help this young filmmaker get his work out into the world. He’s a talented guy. 🎉 Coming for ya @aclfestival Eve Austin, Texas! Aren’t we a lucky bunch to have this in our “backyard”? I was at the 1st one 👵 …and I’ve been to so many since. I’ve been there as a fan, as a bbq restaurant w @stilesswitchbbq , as a Barbecue Wife bloody mary provider, and so on. This year, i get to go as a “mom” x teenage chaperone! This might be the most excited I’ve been. My girl band has it mapped out and I have some fun surprises for them. Thanks aunt @camillionaireatx for being my wing lady mañana! 🎉 Get out & make some memories. You only get to do this thing once ya know! Happy #ACLFest to all that celebrate! P.S. Is there an over 45 meet up/safe space somewhere? Holler ar me! ❤️ #BarbecueWife #AustinTX lover of #ACLFest with a side of #MomJeans taken in Austin City Limits Music Festival (ACL) by @barbecuewife

🏈 The Tailgate Party Test Kitchen with my sous Chef Willis 🐶 is open! Today let’s try… 🏈 PARTY DIPPERS (aka Party Fritos, but the @heb version…because Texas) 🏈 👍 💥 1 bag of Texas Dippers Corn Chips 💥 1/3 cup of melted butter w (1) minced garlic clove - melt butter w the clove of minced garlic in butter 💥 1/2 cup of grated parmesan 💥 1 tbsp black pepper 💥 & here is the part where you can add a little dash of whatever additional seasoning ya like if ya like. I ❤️my Avocado Toast Seasoning on everything so I added a few dashes of that. 💥 Bake at 350 for 20 mins (mix around about 10mins in) pull from oven and add to your favorite serving bowl. 🏈 Willis approved & ready for your next Tailgate. P.S. There is nothing fat free about these Party Dippers! 🧈 Good luck out there football fans! 🏈 ❤️ #BarbecueWife & Willis 🐶 #AustinTX #BBQ lady x #TailgateParty #gameday taken in Austin, Texas by @barbecuewife

Stiles Switch runs five pits — so you name them, or nobody knows which one's which. Meet "Kenny and Dolly": a double-1,000-gallon Moberg Smoker setup built in 2019, named for two 80s country legends. Co-Owner Catherine Stiles had naming rights that round, and as a huge Dolly Parton fan, this was her homage — to Dolly's music and her impact. Fitting timing: today is September 25th, 9 to 5 Day, honoring Dolly Parton's legacy. Class dismissed. 🎓🔥 #texasbbq #brisket #pitmastertips #foodcreator #DollyDay taken in Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew by @barbecuewife
