This painting, Indian Summer II, reminds me of that special October feeling when reality and dreams meet on a gorgeous warm fall day. The colors, the soft reflections on the water, the way everything feels a little dreamy but still real… it just captures that moment perfectly. Hope you enjoy my latest painting fresh off the easel. Dawn Awakens 36x60in is done and ready for varnish.
My favorite part of the day is dawn, the birds rejoice and everything is new and fresh.
Based on Psalm 57:8 NIV — Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.

After falling off a ladder and being out of commission for the past 3 weeks, I'm finally back at my easel working on this 36x60in painting. Here is my work in progress, the first layer of blocking in all the colours and shapes.
