Easter says there is more.
More Life.
More Grace.
More future than you thought.
It’s about hope when things look finished.
It says new life can come out of what felt buried.
It means redemption is possible.
It’s not about an empty tomb- it’s about a living Savior.
Death doesn’t get the final word. by @barbgoggins21

Maundy Thursday (also called Holy Thursday) is the Thursday before Easter. The word Maundy comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command.”
It refers to Jesus’ words in Gospel of John 13:34:
“A new commandment I give you, that you love one another.”

Jesus shared his last meal with his disciples before His arrest-the institution of Communion.
Jesus washed his disciples feet- radical act of humility and servant leadership.

After the meal, He prayed in anguish - garden of Gethsemane,
before His betrayal.

Today is the day to set aside some time to be quiet, reflective and intimate with our Lord.

Today prepares us for Easter Sunday He is risen and the sorrow of Good Friday.

There are seasons when hiding feels like wisdom. You manage your tone. You manage your face. You manage the story. And if you’ve been doing it a long time, you don’t even call it hiding anymore.
You call it being strong.
But the strength that requires you to disappear is not the kind of strength God is building in you. by @barbgoggins21
