✨💃🏽🌸💋💗🐰💐😝🙏🏽 Alana Lazza and I headed down to the Domain on Friday for CJ Hendry's Flower Market. We arrived at 9:30 and lined up for 3.5 hours until we got in to choose our flowers. We missed the Australia natives' flowers, but, as you can see in our photos, we definitely got two beautiful, bright, and colourful bouquets. We didn’t get to meet CJ, but we had a brilliant time meeting other CJ fans. 🐰 I’m so glad we went; it was fun hanging out with my gorgeous girl Alana 💃🏽🌸💋💗🐰💐✨ CJ Hendry Cj Hendry taken in The Domain, Sydney by @barbies66

My Grand Uncles on my mother’s side that served. All born on TI

Pte Martien Mateo GA (photo below) born 2/7/1889. Joined the Australian Imperial Forces from 16/10/1915 Killed in battle 29/9/1917 age 28) in Zonnebeke West Vlaanderen, Belgium

Pte William GA born 26/11/1891. 3051, 4th Australian Pioneers. Killed in action aged 25 on 30/11/1916 in France

Pte Guillermo Joseph GA MM (photo below) born 22/09/1893. Joined the Australian Imperial Forces 1914 . Served in 26th Battalion WWI & in the 15th Garrison Battalion in WWII. Died 30/04/1973 aged 79 in Cairns

Pte Paulincho GA born (photo below) 30/12/1893. Joined the AIF on 20/10/1915. Served in A Company 8th Depot Battalion for training. Was discharged 24/05/16 as “not likely to become an efficient soldier”. The shame of being rejected while his 3 brothers served was too much and prevent him from returning to TI. He died in 1917 aged 24.
