BEAUTIFULLY UNEXPECTED ✨ A Day of Culture, Friendship & Connection Some gatherings are planned, but the memories they leave behind can be beautifully unexpected. 💛 Our KREW gathering at the Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines was a day filled with conversations, laughter, music, karaoke, dancing, and simply enjoying each other’s company. 🎤💃 What I loved most was seeing people from different backgrounds come together through our shared interest in Korean culture. It reminded me that cultural exchange doesn’t always have to happen through something formal. Sometimes, it happens naturally—through a conversation, a song, a dance, or simply spending time together. But did you know we also have a Longganisa Festival? 🌭🎉 Yes, meron tayo—and it’s celebrated in the beautiful Guinobatan, Albay! 🇵🇭 Just like the Seoul Lantern Festival in Korea, festivals are more than just colorful celebrations. They tell stories, showcase local traditions, bring communities together, and give us a glimpse of what makes each culture unique. 🏮✨ The Longganisa Festival celebrates a beloved local food and Filipino community spirit, while the Seoul Lantern Festival transforms the city into a beautiful display of lights and Korean culture.
