Detroit is home to some of the most talented barbers in the country.

Where skill meets hustle, and every cut represents the culture we come from.

Barbers are more than stylists. We are entrepreneurs, innovators, and community builders who turn clippers into opportunity.

Barboratory was built for the ones shaping the future of the industry right here in the city.

The Lab opens soon. Stay tuned.

This past March, during Reading Month, Barboratory and the RO Cares Foundation had the privilege of speaking and connecting with students at Osborn High School on Detroit’s east side.

These moments reflect more than just conversations—they represent exposure, encouragement, and real-life insight into entrepreneurship, discipline, and the importance of planning your next steps as the school year comes to a close.

In recognition of their hard work, students with high GPAs and those enrolled in dual enrollment programs received complimentary haircuts as a symbol of achievement and continued excellence.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to pour into the next generation—sharing experiences, reinforcing self-worth, and reminding students that their current efforts are building the foundation for their future.

Thank you to Osborn High School for allowing us to be part of this impactful experience.

Every great cut starts with how the client feels in the chair.
If Nike designed one, it would look clean, feel effortless, and keep clients comfortable from start to finish.

Because details matter.

Would you cop?
