TEST | Cranchi A32

The Cranchi A32's hull, which was designed by Aldo Cranchi and developed by the shipyard's Research and Development Centre, plays a key role in the boat's handling.

With twin Volvo Penta V6 petrol engines, each delivering 280 hp, the vessel reached a top speed of 38 knots, beginning to plane at just over 12 knots. Beyond 30 knots, fuel consumption remained at just over three litres per mile. The test also revealed excellent handling when turning, balanced hull angles and effective spray protection.

350 hp V8 and 270 hp diesel engines are also available.

TEST | Cranchi A32

The design of the Cranchi A32 faced a specific challenge: how to accommodate numerous functions on a hull measuring approximately 8.5 metres.

The design incorporates three sunbathing areas, a dining table that seats seven, and a fold-down port sidewall that expands the opening towards the sea. The central area is protected by a carbon fibre T-Top, while integrated handrails maintain the clean lines.

Below deck, there is a convertible dinette, two berths, a single bed and a separate bathroom. This spatial arrangement strikes a balance between aesthetics, functionality, and livability.

SHIPYARDS | Lürssen

Six yachts, six projects and one shipyard: over the course of the year, Lürssen delivered the Odisea, the Deep Blue, the Boardwalk 03, the Nausicaä and the Nixie. This collection is distinguished by the variety of its vessels.

These deliveries also mark a new milestone for the German shipyard, with over 30 Lürssen yachts exceeding 100 metres in length now in service. More than a third of the world's 100 largest yachts bear its signature.

However, the most significant aspect concerns the design approach: the freedom afforded to owners and the engineering ability to translate diverse needs into concrete solutions without chasing passing trends.

PROJECT | Seamore 34

In the interiors of Seamore 34, @hot_lab_yachtdesign has combined classic and contemporary references by carefully selecting a range of materials and finishes.

Fluted textures, antiqued glass surfaces and pastel-shaded lacquered panels help to modulate the light and enhance the perception of space without resorting to an overly decorative aesthetic.

PROJECT | Seamore 34

The Seamore 34 concept was developed by Antonini Navi, and the interior was designed by the Milan-based studio @hot_lab_yachtdesign.

The yacht's identity is defined by two distinct design areas, from the overall vision of the vessel to the aesthetic configuration of the interior spaces.

YACHT DESIGN | Lazzarini Pickering Architetti

Claudio Lazzarini and Carl Pickering founded Lazzarini Pickering Architetti, an architecture and interior design firm that has worked across the hospitality, fashion and yachting industries for over forty years. Their collaboration began in Venice in 1981 based on their shared interest in the great masters of Italian design and has evolved through projects for Fendi and iconic yachts.

The two architects have helped redefine the relationship between spaces, materials, and forms in the nautical world, from designing boutiques around the world to the interiors of the Compasso d'Oro-winning Wally 80' and the futuristic WallyPower 118'.

They define their approach as 'omnivorous minimalism', emphasising rigour, clean lines, and the elimination of the superfluous. This design philosophy is based on listening to clients and striking a balance between creative synthesis and meticulous attention to detail.

SUPERYACHTS | Mangusta 165 REV

The interior and exterior design of the Mangusta 165 REV contributes to the identity of the Maxi Open line. Developed with Lobanov Design, the exterior lines reinterpret the classic profile of Mangusta open yachts with dynamic volumes and large, floor-to-ceiling glass surfaces.

The interiors, designed in collaboration with architect Marcello Pianosi, combine functionality with customisation. Notable features include the 69 m² sundeck and the aft beach club, which boasts green Lepanto marble and furnishings from Talenti and Minotti. A lateral garage completes the onboard organisation, housing a six-metre tender and two jet skis.

SUPERYACHTS | Mangusta 165 REV

The Mangusta 165 REV is the latest evolution of the Maxi Open philosophy of the Mangusta shipyard. This composite pleasure vessel measures 50 metres in length, displaces less than 500 GT and reaches a top speed of 35 knots thanks to four 2,600 HP engines combined with a Kongsberg Kamewa waterjet propulsion system.

Optimisation of the hull and propulsion system has also enabled a 30% reduction in fuel consumption compared to the previous series. This fourth model thus demonstrates the relationship between performance, naval design and efficiency.

HYPERCAR | Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Tree of Life

The 911 GT3 Touring Tree of Life is a prime example of what can be achieved through Porsche's Sonderwunsch programme, which specialises in the most exclusive customisations.

Created for the fifteenth anniversary of Porsche Moldova, this demonstration vehicle goes beyond simply choosing colours and accessories; the gradient livery and reference to the Tree of Life transform the car into a project that expresses culture and identity. The Sonderwunsch programme enables the creation of configurations that surpass the options available on the official configurator, showcasing how customisation can become an integral part of automotive design.

HYPERCAR | Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Tree of Life

This Porsche 911 GT3 Touring expresses Moldovan culture through its design. Created to celebrate 15 years of Porsche Moldova, the Tree of Life pays homage to a symbol deeply rooted in the country's identity.

Developed with the Porsche Design Centre and the Sonderwunsch department, the project stands out for its exclusive paintwork, which fades from Purple Metallic at the front to Chroma Flair Magic Magenta at the rear. This is not a production model, but rather a unique creation that combines cultural identity, aesthetic exploration and automotive engineering.

TEST | Novamarine RH 1200

The Novamarine RH 1200 is the flagship of the RH range. This 12.41-metre maxi RIB is designed to offer a combination of performance, safety and outdoor comfort.

With three Mercury V10 outboard engines, each delivering 350 hp, it can reach speeds in excess of 50 knots. Its pronounced V-shaped hull ensures a smooth ride over waves, and its stability and precise turning contribute to control, even at high speeds.

The layout prioritises conviviality, with a spacious cockpit, forward sundeck and configuration designed for day trips. The interior, however, is deliberately restrained.
