**My first forest walk. 🌿**

I almost didn’t go.

Fear talked me out of it the night before — *what if something attacks me, what if I get lost, what if there’s no network and no way back.* Fear is loud like that.

But curiosity was louder.

So after lunch, I walked toward the forest near the NGO I’m working with. The road was narrow. The trees closed in. And for a moment, every worst-case scenario played in my head at once.

Then I kept walking anyway.

And the forest — it just *opened up.*

Butterflies everywhere. 🦋 More than 30 different kinds — I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Bamboo groves. Peacocks. A green so deep it almost felt unreal.

It didn’t feel dangerous anymore.
It felt like home.
Like therapy I didn’t know I needed.

And somewhere in that silence, it hit me —

*This is where the black panther lives.*

Not in a zoo. Not in a reel.
Here. In this exact stillness.

We talk about saving the wild —
But maybe the wild was always the one saving us.
