What a special secret show that was! 😍✨

Last Friday at @barespace_ams , we hosted another unforgettable Sofar Sounds show, featuring some of the most exciting emerging artists in town!

✨ @basbeenackersmusic
✨ @berkkiymaz
✨ @stripeluca

And we had a very special guest… Rafe Offer, the one and only founder of Sofar Sounds! ❤️

It all started back in 2009, in Rafe’s living room in London, where the very first Sofar show took place. And look how far that little idea has come! 🌍

Want to experience the magic of live music in unexpected spaces yourself?

new chapter: Welcome to BARESPACE at Luchtvaartstraat.

Tucked away in Amsterdam and built inside a former industrial warehouse, BARESPACE is our new home: a place where artists, designers, musicians, makers and cultural initiatives can create, collaborate and grow together.

More than just a studio building, BARESPACE is a hybrid creative hub. The space combines private ateliers, shared workspaces, production facilities and a large industrial hall designed for exhibitions, performances, workshops, film productions, community dinners and cultural events.

Whether you’re looking for a studio or a unique venue for your next project, BARESPACE is built to support ambitious creative work at every scale.

Perfect for:
• Artist studios & creative residencies
• Exhibitions & installations
• Photo & film productions
• Performances & live music
• Workshops & community gatherings
• Pop-ups, launches & cultural events

Our residents become part of an active creative ecosystem, with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines, share knowledge and shape the space together.

Interested in joining the community, hosting an event, or collaborating with us?

Get in touch or come by for a visit. by @barespace_ams
