I never ever thought I would be saying this, but I’m competing in a pageant! I am so excited to share that I will be competing at @bariatriccon in Orlando, FL November 2027. I am not anywhere close to being done with my weight loss journey, but this pageant isn’t about how your body looks. It’s to celebrate the strength and tenacity it takes to center your life around health and wellness and show up for yourself day after day! I am so excited to share the stage with other amazing women across the US that have gone through the same journey, whether it’s through weight loss surgery, GLPs, or naturally. Well… I guess it’s finally time to share what I’ve gotten myself into. 😂👑 After 45 years of life and never once imagining myself as a “pageant girl,” I have officially said YES to becoming Ms. Davenport BariBeauty and competing in the BariatricCon Pageant in Orlando in November 2027. This is so far outside anything I ever pictured for myself, but maybe that’s exactly why I needed to say yes. My journey with my weight and my body has been a huge part of my story, but this next chapter isn’t about becoming someone else or becoming “perfect.” It’s about confidence, growth, allowing myself to be seen, and finally giving myself permission to pursue something I never thought was meant for me. I’m excited, nervous, curious, and probably going to ask myself “What did I sign up for?” approximately 500 times along the way. 😂 But I’m ready to find out where this road takes me.
