Improvisation being a substantial part of what we do, no two performances of a tune ever turn out exactly the same. We kinda like it that way - there’s an undeniable beauty in impermanence. ✨ You get to reinvent an idea and slap on a fresh coat of paint every night! And if you ever don’t quite stick the landing, so what! Take a chance, safe is boring!
That said, sometimes you get lucky and a particularly inspired pass of an old favourite ends up on tape and though these weren’t necessarily meant for posterity, we figured, you guys might want to partake in their delightful uniqueness and set up a Soundcloud page as a sort of bootleg library. Keep it separate from our official releases on Bandcamp; they can’t quite hang with the production quality of course, but they’re hella fun and we can’t wait to throw some stuff your way!
Let’s kick this off with “Tinderella” recorded live at our show at @birdland_hamburg this past December!
