Heavy rains that began last week have caused rivers to flood, inundating whole towns and destroying roads and bridges across the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul.

Thousands of animals of all types: dogs, cats, birds, horses, were left behind and are being rescued by volunteers.

Me and my friend Jackie @jaquelineterra both born in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, have decided to come together and raise funds to donate to institutions committed to rescue, medicate, feed and shelter all these animals that are being rescued.

At the end of our campaign, we will report all the amount raised and donated.

We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts.

It was quite the experience to foster these puppies for two weeks. Definitely a lot of love exchanged and lessons learned together. Thanks to my husband @barkerkid_ for the patience and support. l wouldn't be able to do it if it wasn't for him.
These cute little guys were rescued, along with their siblings, from an under-resourced shelter. Today they will get back to @friendsofstrays to get neutered and be ready for adoption.
If you are interested, or know someone who might of want to adopt them, please reach out to the shelter.
