Colombia - Tropical Fruit Co-Fermentation
Coconut Sponge, Lemon Curd, Cardamom Bun

Officially announcing the release of our latest guest espresso.

Incredible work from @intermission.coffee. Super funky, but a little different from the bright, fruit-forward coffees we usually gravitate towards. This one tastes more like cake.

Sorry we’re not too active on the gram these days. We’ve been a little more focused on what’s happening on the ground.

Come try it. by @barmancoffeeco

If you get a cappucino here, it’ll probably look like this.

The term cappucino comes from Capuchin friars, monks who wore distinctive brown robes with hoods. Cappucino essentially translates from Italian to ‘little hood’ referring to their robes. Hence, the drink was supposed to resemble the colour of their robes.

The latte art in figure A is called a ‘monks head’, a flat white top to resemble the bald spot of a monk. If we’re being honest @danthebaristaman would tell you it should have a brown ring around the outside but it might just be a skill issue on our part.

The latte art is supposed to give a nod to the origin of the drink. You’ll receive it half with chocolate and half without, so you can choose how you wish to enjoy it.

If the texture is bang on, you’ll be sipping on clouds. by @barmancoffeeco

Announcing the launch of our guest espresso program. We’re going funky guys.

From the incredible Mauro of @specialtycafetiere we’ve sourced an incredible Geisha from Colombia, advanced natural process.

Basically, it tastes like strawberry cream, blueberry and cherry blossom.

You’ll see it on our new menu, just ask for a surprise.

Btw we’ve been working on refining the illustrations, hope you like it x by @barmancoffeeco

@barmancoffeeco has been quietly calling to us since it opened in summer 2025 — partly because it’s just around the corner from our office, and partly because it carries that unmistakable feeling of a dream finally realised. A small space built on intention, patience, and a deep love for coffee. After half a year of watching it grow into itself, we can say with confidence: this one truly deserves the visit.

At the heart of Barman is Eray. With a background in hospitality and an instinctive understanding of coffee, he’s behind the bar every day — dialing in espresso, brewing filters, greeting regulars by name, and welcoming newcomers like old friends. This is a place where presence matters, and you feel it the moment you step inside.

The space itself tells a story. Hand-painted artwork on the walls, thoughtful branding, and a calm consistency that runs through everything they do. Coffee is sourced from @plotroasting (a choice that speaks for itself), pastries arrive warm each morning from a local bakery, and the hospitality is gentle, generous, and unforced — the kind that feels like a quiet embrace.

Barman has earned its place in the rhythm of the neighbourhood. Order a beautifully brewed Gesha on pour-over, choose a book from the shelf, settle by the large window, and let time slow down for a moment. This is coffee as it should be — unhurried, sincere, and full of heart. 🤍 by @barmancoffeeco

Late Post, Big Announcement!!

If you have followed our journey over the past few months, you’ve probably heard about our continual push to improve the space and our offerings.

From the leaky sink to the non-existent cabinets to the sugary matcha, we’ve come a long way. Are we done? Absolutely not.

The time has now come to upgrade our house espresso; and we’re going all out. We wanted to work with a roaster that had a wide range of interesting and unique coffees with a supreme house bean. Enter @plotroasting - the coffee persons coffee roaster.

Plot emphasise precision, traceability and creativity - core values of Barman Coffee Co. All they do are single origin beans - and they do it well.

What does this mean for you? With our new equipment, our light-medium single origin Brazil by way of @mio.fazenda , expect a sweeter, more complex, chocolatey-orange cup - with greater consistency than ever before.

Keep an eye out for the incredible, rotating beans with the most innovative processes around. Never had a mango-strawberry black coffee before? I can change that for you.

We also now have a dedicated decaf grinder as well as a separate Fellow grinder just to level up our cold brews, batch brews and pour-overs.

Big shout out to @allpressespressouk for sticking with us this far. Particularly Nick who supported as from day zero - we couldn’t have done it without you!

Onwards and upwards. Live tomorrow. Love you lot🙌 taken in Camden Town by @barmancoffeeco

The time has come! Soft launch weekend🎉 After almost 2 months of renovations, we are finally ready to start serving coffee. Wanted to give a massive shoutout to all who supported us throughout, we genuinely couldn’t be more thankful.

As for the festivities tomorrow, try to look past the dodgy sink or non-existent cabinets😆, we will continue our work in upgrading the space, as well as the menu to give you the best possible experience (seriously).

Come and taste our coffee, tell us what you think, super excited to get to meet you all! by @barmancoffeeco
