Farewell to a very good month consisting of birthdays, much-needed rain and family fun.

Started with this bee having a right old good time.

It got sweaty in the heat.

Football is care in the community extended and I won’t hear any differently.

Sky. Fire. Fire sky. Sky on fire.

The first rains came for six weeks. A rainbow.

My brother turned 50. We had a cracker of a weekend.

Eclipse and pigeon.

Actually quite funny.

The excellent Rose Shalloo in Nell Gwynn in Chester.

The storm it came, and it came with everything it had.

I enjoyed running around in it until there was a big flash of lightning and I shit myself and ran back in.

July started with a stormy sea at New Brighton.

Hoped to catch the sunset tonight as I’ve been indoors a lot to day. It seems Mother Nature decided to lash every cloud going in the sky as we were treated to everything in one go. Some new birds for the Merlin app too. Marvellous clouds. #wirral by @barriegwhite

A stunning sunset to finish a very hot day here in Wirral. Nice to see most of the people show care and take their rubbish with them etc, it was hugely disappointing to see people parking on a nature reserve because they couldn’t be arsed walking. Men walking with massive spliffs regardless of whether there are kids knocking about. The social contract is gone. Anyway, nice sunset. by @barriegwhite
