Alison & Barry PART 2 ✨ As guests stepped through the draped opening, they entered the next chapter of Alison and Barry’s wedding story. The Beverly Hills Hotel inspiration continued on the other side of the tent, where shades of blush and merlot filled the reception with warmth, romance, and just the right amount of glamour. Blush linens dressed the tables while lush florals in rich merlot and soft pink created a palette that felt timeless and effortlessly elegant. Overhead, green striped valances framed the tent while custom drum chandeliers floated beneath a canopy of twinkle lights. What made these details even more special was that they weren’t simply design elements—they were created by Barry himself. As the owner of an awning company, Barry fabricated the striped valances and chandelier drums, adding a personal touch that transformed the tent into something truly meaningful. Seeing his craftsmanship woven throughout the celebration made the space feel even more personal and reflective of the couple. But those twinkle lights were more than beautiful décor. For Alison, they were a childhood dream inspired by Father of the Bride, a moment she had imagined for years. Watching that dream come to life beneath thousands of sparkling lights was one of those rare moments where reality becomes even better than the vision. And because every great wedding deserves a little whimsy, inflatable swans floated in the pool as a playful nod to another iconic Father of the Bride moment. It was the perfect blend of sophistication, nostalgia, and fun. From the ceremony to the reception, every detail reflected Alison and Barry’s story. His craftsmanship. Her vision. Their love. For Alison and Barry, this wasn’t just a wedding venue. It was her parents’ backyard, the place filled with years of memories, laughter, family gatherings, and moments that helped shape the person she is today. And for one unforgettable day, it became the setting for the next chapter of their story. Inspired by Alison’s vision of bringing the timeless glamour of the Beverly Hills Hotel to Atlanta, we transformed the space beneath a shamrock green draped tent overflowing with lush blush and merlot blooms. Every detail felt romantic, elegant, and deeply personal, like it had always belonged there. After a week of watching a forecast that threatened to steal the show, the Etsy Witch worked her magic and delivered the most perfect weather imaginable. Blue skies, gentle breezes, and a golden evening that felt almost too beautiful to be real. This wedding is one I’m especially proud of, not because of the tent, the flowers, or the design, but because of what it represented. A family opening their home. A couple trusting the process. An incredible team pouring their hearts into every detail. And the privilege of creating a space where memories will be talked about for generations. The best events aren’t just beautiful.
