In honor of the sequel to my favorite animated movie of all time, here’s a revamp of artwork I made a while back: “your friendly neighborhood Barsnetti”

As a videographer, a digital artist, and someone who raps everything in this movie hits home and inspires me like crazy.

After seeing the reviews for this new movie saying it’s the greatest of all time, it blows me away that it was only made with a $100M budget, which makes you wonder what Disney’s been doing with their $200-$400M films lately that haven’t been anywhere close.

Anyways we’ll talk more when u see me across the spiderverse after Miami wins the finals.

The other one was a guy named Ron Carpenter (ok last name cool ig..) he spoke on racial diversity in a church and learning how to lead yourself in your emotions, energy, and work ethic.

Talking to people and reaching out (as we’re meant to do in ministry) is a lot of hard work and requires too much energy because people suck. So one of the things that really spoke out to me on what he said were to:

- Learn what depletes you, and track it.
- Learn what replenishes you, and track it.

A few weeks ago the staff and I went on a retreat in Chattanooga for a few days. It was a vacation/team building and learning kind of thing. There we heard from two speakers for some of the sessions we had throughout the days.

One of them was this lady (I forgot her name lol) who spoke on the emotional side of ministry and defined ways to love other people which I thought was kinda cool

Madre this yesterday along with a bunch of other drawings. I’ve gotten this surge to just start making stuff and it makes me happy but if I’m being honest I can never trust it because every time I do, something wrong always happens.

Idk what it will be, but idk I just have a pretty bad feeling.

Y’all this took 48 minutes this morning! 😭😭

Been spending this morning forgetting about everything and just doing whatever comes to mind and I made two pieces of artwork in such a short amount of time. It’s a little therapeutic actually, and I never thought I’d be able to do stuff like that again.

Still a bit off-put about throwing these up on the main though. It’s always a risk. taken in Mindstate by @barsnetti
