NRX was a movie. What happened this weekend wasn’t about lights, stages, or lineups 👉 it was about showing that Jesus has no rival. I’ve been meaning to make this 4 months ago, and scripted it out 2 months ago. It’s possible to become so familiar with the word “sorry” that we can lose the weight of it from how much it piles up. This is a personal reminder to give ourselves grace (cause it can get really dark) , and to adjust to what is true. “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. *Equipment below* Can’t lie, when I’m in a really rough state, I sometimes go back to edits I’ve done like these to remind myself of God’s goodness, His words, and the feelings I get from Him from when I served at each service. These moments are powerful, and reminds me I’m actually so undeserving of Him, and yet He’s still my advocate. Thank you @joshbayne_ for having me cover College Nights at @athenschurchcollege 2 weeks back — the experience was incredibly refreshing and inspiring to see THIRTY ONE STUDENTS make a life-changing decision.
