12 MONTHS OF TECHY

A little over 12 months ago, this old wooden bar was nothing more than a poorly thought out financial decision, with intentions to try squeeze it into a one-bedroom apartment as a funny idea for a party.

After filming our very first hero video (slide one), making some shirts, naming it Bar Technicality, and throwing that first party; it still was just that, a poorly thought out financial decision (arguably, it still is to this day).

Over time though, it evolved into a little more than just an old wooden bar. It became a central point and familiar face for what are now Bar Techy parties, events and collaborations. It became a unique experience with friends and strangers, a good time with good music, random spontaneity, and chaotic wholesomeness.

At the end of the day, and after 12-months of nonsense, it still is technically just an old wooden bar (in far, far worse shape than when we bought it). But the memories and friendships it's brought about along the way have made it so much more than that.

See you at our next one.

For your friends and ours,

Bar Technicality x

TECHY'S GOIN' DARK

Taking inspo from the gritty and raw scenes of Berlins underground, we're throwing a blacked out rager. Think hypnotic bass and dance music that'll punch through your chest.

Dress code is all black, strictly no colour. If we think you're looking too bright, you'll be buying a Techy tee to cover up as punishment.

Saturday 4 October, doors from 6pm. Tickets and all info available in our bio, sales are limited.

See you there 🖤 taken in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia by @bartechnicality
