@teatrwkrakowie gave me complete creative freedom - to build visual story around the performance, independent of the director’s interpretation. My only points of departure were the title of the play and the actor. I wasn’t interested in documenting the performance. I wanted to create something that could be exist beyond the theatre - somewhere between portraiture, movement and abstraction. An independent visual story, rather than a record of the stage. #grzegorzlukawski as Ameri Cane #théâtre #theatrelife #theatrephotography #theatrephotographer taken in Teatr w Krakowie - im. @rafalblechaczofficial invited me to the @filharmonia_poznanska with a clear idea in mind - he was looking for a new image of himself, something darker, deeper and more introspective. Later he wrote to me that the photographs felt perfectly in tune with his new project in C moll. One of them eventually became the cover of his latest album for @dgclassics #pianist #pianistlife by @bartekbarczyk.art

@krystian__zimerman once told me about a fox that visits him at home in Switzerland. I said I dreamed of photographing that encounter. “Then I’ll take you to Nara” he replied. “We’ll make a good photograph there”.
And so we did. #pianist #pianistlife taken in Nara, Nara by @bartekbarczyk.art

Dear Poznań, Dear Poland.

Every applause that vibrated through the hall, every moment of silence suspended in the air, every breath shared in the darkness has left a profound mark on my soul.

Music is an act of pure devotion, an unconditional gift of love—a living entity that exists solely to be given, finding its fulfillment in the emotion of those who listen.

To you, my deepest gratitude.

Music does not live only in the hands of the one who plays, but in the soul of the one who receives it.

When I step onto the stage, I bring my whole self, and I will never offer you anything less than that.

My most sincere thank you to the @wieniawskisociety for making this possible, to my fellow artists for the shared beauty, to my dear companion of music @michalfrancuz, my Maestro @roberto_trainini for his guidance and faith, and to everyone who stood by my side.

This is not a farewell, but a promise: to keep seeking each other through sound, wherever the path may lead.

The music fades. What was born together with you remains.

Yours truly,
