You’re helping keep all of this alive.

Bartholomew Estate is 100% owned by the Bartholomew Foundation; a non-profit that has permanently protected this land since 1980.

Every bottle purchased, every membership, every visit directly funds the maintenance of 375 acres of trails, redwood groves, walking paths, and wildlife habitat that remain free and open to everyone.

Not just people... but for the deer, the birds, the turkeys running through the vineyards.. they live here too. And your membership helps make sure they always can.

Our 2026 Harvest Celebration was this weekend and it was a hit! We even had a party crasher caught on camera by @thespoonlist 😂

October is here and we are ready! 🍎🍷

Sweater weather, falling leaves, and all the fall recipes.

Starting with this white apple cider sangria featuring our 2023 Sauvignon Blanc!

Crisp, aromatic, and a little unexpected… turns out our Sauvignon Blanc was made for fall too. Just needed the right recipe to prove it.

🍷 If you love a winery experience with an actual story behind it, this one is SO worth doing 📚📖

@bartholomewestate’s Antonia Bartholomew Legacy Vineyard Tour & Tasting is a 2-hour guided experience that follows the story of Antonia and how she helped resurrect the incredible winemaking history of this Sonoma property.

You’ll walk through the estate vineyards 🍇, explore some of the property’s most historic areas, and get special access inside the GORGEOUS Haraszthy Villa, which you wouldn’t experience during a regular tasting.

The property itself is where Count Agoston Haraszthy first began what would become California’s premium wine industry, so there is SO much history packed into this estate!!!

And throughout the experience, you’re also tasting Bartholomew Estate wines 🍷 before finishing surrounded by the beautiful vineyards and grounds.
One of my favorite details is that the winery is completely nonprofit-owned 💛

Wine tastings and purchases help support the preservation of the surrounding 375-acre Bartholomew Park and keep it open for the public to enjoy 🌲

We followed Teddy around for a day. Here's what we learned. 🐾

Napping is non-negotiable. Treats are always appropriate. Every single visitor deserves a proper greeting: no exceptions. And the best spot on the entire 375 acre estate is wherever he's getting the best sniffs.

Most people who visit Bartholomew Estate don't know the full story of this land. 🌿

A Miwok settler's vineyard in 1832. Count Haraszthy in 1857. California's first corporate winery. A hospital. A convalescent home. An outside winery operating here for nearly 30 years. And finally, in 2019, the Foundation's own winery opening for the first time.
